Gill founded Linguistic Landscapes in 2002, pioneering the commercial application of language sciences, linguistics and discourse analysis to real organisational issues.
She has degrees in Psychology and something called Contemporary Cultural Processes but, just as importantly, more than 35 years' experience in business research and consulting.

She is currently writing a book about how organisations and the language they use are deeply intertwined, and the practical benefits of revealing this process.

Kirstie has over 20 years' experience helping organisations navigate cultural change as a consultant and coach. She is particularly interested in the role that language plays in the the dynamics of interpersonal relationships at work and how this affects individual and group motivation in relation to behaviour change. Kirstie has an MA in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford, and is an executive coach with a credential from the International Coach Federation.

Rebecca is a senior lecturer in the Department of Organizational Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London. Her research interests include the discursive construction of work identities (e.g. in relation to age, gender and class), concepts (e.g. work-life boundaries), and the effects of digital technology on how contemporary work is organized. She is also interested in qualitative research methodologies, in particular, the use of digital and visual data.

As well as working closely with Linguistic Landscapes, Emmet is founder of QUIDDITY, a consultancy dedicated to the analysis of cultural and linguistic data, with a particular focus on the use of non-research data. Emmet's talents encompass discourse analysis, ethnography/netnography, ethnomethodology, narrative analysis and semiotics.

Nat combines his work at Linguistic Landscapes with his life as a novelist, scriptwriter and journalist. His work has appeared in national newspapers, The New Yorker, Harper's and 1843 magazine, and he broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4. His first novel 'Pub Walks in Underhill Country' was published in 2011 and his most recent non-fiction book 'Retreat: The Risks and Rewards of Stepping Back from the World' was published by Penguin in June 2021.

During his many years with Linguistic Landscapes, Nat has been the analytic powerhouse for many commercial, charitable and public-sector projects, including large-scale analyses of the language used in media accounts of climate change.

Veronika is Professor in Discourse Studies at the Department of Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University. Her research interests include language and gender, health communication and corporate discourse. Within these areas, she particularly focuses on metaphor. Veronika is co-author of 'Language in Business, Language at Work', a book which introduces an approach to teaching business communication that centres on language. She also co-hosts the podcast 'Words & Actions'.

Clare has more than 15 years' experience as a blue-chip marketer and design and brand consultant. She qualified as a teacher of business English, before completing an MA in Applied Linguistics followed by a PhD at the University of Birmingham and continues to apply her research interests - language, gender and ageing - both within academia and in the wider world of business. Her book 'Discourses of Ageing and Gender: The Impact of Public and Private Voices on the Identity of Ageing Women' was published recently. Clare is a Visiting Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London and the University of Roehampton, as well as an Associate Tutor at the University of Birmingham. Clare is also a regular speaker at conferences and seminars.

Mel has a background in both client and agency roles in brand and marketing management, research, insight and planning and more than 20 years' experience as a qualitative researcher - skills and wisdom that she brings to Linguistic Landscapes. Mel is also an accomplished and high energy workshop facilitator. Having worked on a diverse range of major global brands Mel’s experience includes projects in North America, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Malaysia, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Russia and multiple markets across Western, Central and Eastern Europe.

Louise has had a long and successful career in advertising and qualitative research and is a Chartered Member of The Market Research Society. At Linguistic Landscapes she conducts executive interviews and contributes to strategic analysis. She has conducted various research projects for the NHS, including a pilot project aligning staff engagement with improving patient experience. She has been a lecturer at undergraduate and post graduate levels as well as working at board level in advertising, market research and academia. She is now non-executive director for Pittards plc and Croydon Health Services.
